In our watch hands production, we have many machines to attach the hand tube to watch hands. the easy one is like below machine. to heat the hand tube under the hand hole by automatic machine. There is a paw to grab the tube on the notch to the position which workers only put the hands in right place and move it accordingly.
There are 2 conditons to use this automatic machines. 1. polished quality hands, the hands align together as one row. instead of diamond cut watch hands. 2. Normal hand tube height, if heighteded hand tube, then we need to use other machines to do it.
As we all know the tube to be attached under hands by heating,like the dial feet under watch dial too. hand tube is very important as the diameter is to fit the spin on movement. if it is too small, then it is too tight for movement, on the contrary, too big, then too loose. the watch hands can't work well in this case.
